I'm very pleased to have the opportunity to listen Radio Hargeisa, the voice of the Republic of Somaliland, here in the Netherlands. Well done the Kulmiye Administration.

  4. Kayse says:

They were working on this radio for 21 years and it took them 21 years to bring two Chinese guys to set it up for them. In 1940, two Somali geeljires put it together in two weeks.

It is shame that people who could fix a simple radio station in 21 years (still not ready) want to ask the world for recognition. Very embarrassing.

The tiny Garowe had six radio stations in 10 years…Radio Daljir, Horseed, Garowe, Galkacayo, etc…

You deserve a candy for going on air (test) after twenty years of sitting amongst the trash and just chewing the grass.

    • Kayse says:

After one week, you will hear nothing but blowing and wild wind and they will say as usual "walaalayaal raali ahadaa waxaa nagu dhacday TEKNIKUUL BORABALAM"….once the two Chinese leave.

How can you call a country a place that can't even install a radio station? For good sake even a nomad can install FM transmitter. This is primary school project. What a great country, they have a radio and now deserve recognition hehehehehe……halkaniiiii wa radio ixtiiraaaaaaaaaaaaaaf

kayse you are a a moory@n, please take drugs to block out your bad life.

      • Kayse says:

What drugs do you recommend Garadag villager? Just wanna see how lame you get. I know you can't debate me and I blame your poor education but no need to loose control of your glucose like Silaanyo.

What is the next 21 years' project? Let me guess, building a tree house.

  5. CUKUSE INA BIDAAR says:

Good news coming from Hargaisa as usual, this is why i am moving to this place once i finish my current job in CANADA. It is a good place even though i was born in Garoowe, i hope it isn't as tribal as Puntland.

    Mashallah Mashallah Mashallah

  6. mohamed cheers says:

Folks, good news that Capital Hargeisa is eventually upgraded to a top grade Radio station
by the proactive Ato Silaanyo Govt who came to power july 2010. This will be yet another mileage
for Ato Silaanyo to give more traumas to my friend Kayse and his gangsters lol.
    Cheers.

We will not sucum to those nake truthless, hatefilled comments boarding insanity. DO your best to spit your venum on these pages for that is the only way you can come Harm our people. correc..some comment.

  8. M. Khalid says:

Somaliland doesn't need a radio. Notwithstanding an ocassional poor entertaimment, this media has mislead the people on many important issues. It worked as a propaganda medium for the successive somali governments. It should be closed and new independent radios opened instead.

    • Kayse says:

Smart man, indeed, the days of government and Council mouthpiece are long over. Some people have been trying 20 years to get a source of propaganda and even that TV is useless. In Australia its transmission is down 99.9% but all the other private ones (horn cable, universal, Somali TV) work like champ.

Its waste of time and waste of people's money.
