Somalilandpress apologizes to everyone for our unexpected outage, the website is very busy with thousands of visits and unfortunately we also have a connectivity issue tonight with our west coast data center.
Our IT team are working to restore your access as quickly as possible and we apologize for any inconvenience. Thanks for making Somalilandpress, what it is, the leading Somali English source.
We are expanding our services and are in the process of applying for a license in Somalia with its Ministry of Information.
We are also going to upgrade this website and its coverage and we will add more features which will make the website like the leading sources in the region and around the world.
The responds from our IT department was: “The server appeared to have crashed as a result of resource exhaustion and/or high loads (traffic).”
Your feedback, criticism, suggestions are always welcome. Those who wish to work with us can also write to us contact@Somalilandpress

we welcome slandpress move to be a website for all Somalis instead of one enclave good luck with your license. i guarantee you they can refuse a media license. the reason you are experiencing high traffic is people from south discovered this website especialy those of us in the diapora who want news and meaningfull debate
cant refuse
Just curious: since you are a web-based portal, why do you need a license? or are you starting up a print newspaper or radio station?
Awesome, I am happy that you're expanding your services to Somalia.
