LONDON (SomalilandPress)—President Ahmed Mohamed Mohamud (Silaanyo) and his delegation consisting of Foreign Minister Dr. Mohamed Abdullahi Omar, Interior Minister Dr. Mohamed Gabose, Minister of Planning and Development Dr. Sa’ad Ali Shire and few other cabinet members today arrived at Heathrow Airport.  The president and his delegation were welcomed by the Somaliland Diaspora community and members of the Kulmiye party.

The president and his delegation did not receive any official welcome from the British government unlike the welcome reception that he has received last from both Djibouti and Ethiopia where he was welcome with red carpet.  However he is expected to meet with the British Foreign office next week.
President Silaanyo will be meeting with the Somaliland Community in UK next Saturday November 27,2010 in London.

Welcome Mr Silaanyo. However you have to rush back home and move the army into Buhoodle. Both Ethiopia and UK need to quickly assist Somaliland to erase the terrorists from the region.

    • Wellcoming the president is so good with strong comment on the socio-political encouragement of the state, society, the nationals, and the community as well. we thank you that you have all great ly welcommed to the international city of london.

in any good idea there are some sort of quarell about the politics remarkably and namelly issues in the news like the heat and dissipating civil war anticipated in Buhodle seems to be growing agressive. but the vice president has appointed experts on mission. Haregeisa water crices is somthing of course to be handled yet the financial situation and condition seems to be in the mid requiremenyt of a an allarming state.

pulling the power close to buuhoodle may be among the issues in the news.

and definitelly that requires some sort of support but the Somaliland sociaty will any how ready to be healing in to the hostile condition if foriagn support fails or as it is so hot to positiveness now takes longer then expected.

but among all the most and the best seems the well world debated issue the top climax of the political issue is on the right direction. as far as ethiopia is in a postion positivelly welcomed by Somaliland. and the european union is expected to move bit forward.

but you and your friends are expreseed whether you have personally recognised Somaliland.

      thanks hearing soon from you

Dear Lord!! Who will run Somaliland's affairs if its entire government is on vacation in the UK? Given our meagre resources, I do not understand why so many ministers have to always accompany our presidents when they travels abroad? Don't these cabinet members have demanding jobs to do, like looking after Somaliland's security, rebuilding its economy, etc?

how come all the presidents of somaliweyn only spend 10% of their time in home while all the time they are traveling. Just look at sharif, faroole, the president of galmudug and all other leaders. The worst thing is they will visist the same countries over and over again. I mean doesnt it cost alot of money all this travelling. They can claim what ever they want but all the presidents do behave the same stupid way.

    Good piont my fellow landers!
Its shamefully true there is no need for all the ministers to be here but on the other hand they are properly using this opportunity as a free ticket to visit their families in the UK, after all Somaliland is not good enough for their love ones.
