No significant postings for 2 days I guess somaliandpress is running out of steam or perhaps it couldn't find some dirt on Sillanyo or Dahabshil. I was checking on Google earth to see if Oog can be spotted. the place is not even on the map yet

Somali sites usually just focus on politics or religion, they need to step out of that and report on why Somali commercials are soo annoying and what is being done by it, or the everyday lives of the people of Somaliland. I am sure there are stories to be told. They just need to get out there like regular news papers do.

The editor is on vacation in Somaliland. Gentlemen, may be you could contribute by cantacting the management of S.landpress. What do you think?

    ComeAgain,
Agreed. The media is for business they intent to post or talk about the tings they think it could attract more attentions. The politics and religion are very broad base topics, audiences can talk about them until cows come. It's more interesting though where audiences are divided into 2 groups, such as Somalilanders vs Somalis.

I don't want honk my own horn…toot…toot! but for some reason Somalilanders usually get the upper hand on debates. It beats me, probably because Somalilanders are more calm and collective than the Somalis. What do you think?

I wish the Somalilandpress editor a happy trip to Somaliland. My advise for him is to visit Hawd and get out off Hargeisa and get some fresh air and fresh camel milk.

  7. Abraham says:

I guess the editor is receiving the red carpet treatment in Hargeisa which has recently become some what obsessed with "celebrity".

No one wants to die. Even people who want to go to heaven don't want to die to get there. And yet death is the destination we all share. No one has ever escaped it. And that is as it should be, because Death is very likely the single best invention of Life. It is Life's change agent. It clears out the old to make way for the new.statement of purpose writing
