Mashallah.. good work my fellow students and congrats

  2. Naliye says:

Stop lying I was one of the top students in 2005/2006 no scholarship no nothing, scholarships were sold by Ministry officials.

so this statement "The top students of the GCSE exams got scholarships to attend overseas universities in Malaysia, Sudan and Libya." is from my personal experience is a false claim, scholarships in somaliland is corrupted or at least was.

    • Joe says:

I agree, it's a blatant lie by the corrupt forces of the "government", nothing more than a tyrannical oppression.

  3. omararm says:

    My Freind Naliye

You are correct there was a corruption previousley but recently there is no any corruption at all in shaa' allah things were already staightened by our new government and new Ministery of Education.

  4. Kayse says:

This is a clear evident that the so called government whether be former Riyale and his corrupted UDUB or the current fqash Silanyo is doing nothing and Somaliland people should not respect nor trust few old man calling themselves government.

We should have a private government and security forces. Its clear the "government" has failed in every field including security.

Its time Somalilanders former a new private government.

The "government" only provides scholarships to those with money that can buy it from them or use clan-affiliation. Its highly corrupted.

I am worried international universities that offer Somaliland students the opportunities to study in their universities will not get the best Somaliland students and the ones worthy of it but instead will get some illiterate guy who bought the system and abused the generous gift.

    • Jimcaale says:

STOP MAKING STUPID COMMENTS KAYSE. SERIOUSLY GROW UP!
" We should have a private government and security forces" Who says that!

If you hate Somaliland then move to xamar. I recommend Bakara. I hear it's a good tourist destination this time of year. I hear the halwa sold there is simply to dieee for lool

  5. guled says:

This is addressed to Kayse, i do not know what your problem is with the Kulmiye Administration but you constant diatribe about "Fqash" is becoming tired. This is the main reason why Riyaale and his corrupt henchmen were thrown out in the first place. Please refrain from insulting this current administration until they have been in power for a minimum a year, they deserve that much from us. The signs so far as i can see is encouraging.

  6. Shawky says:

First of all, my specail and heartly appreciation goes to Isahaq Hashi Abdi who together with Baynah reported this news. I think a great step is taken to future, the way forward is smooth and shining for students insha Allah.. Whether there is corruption in dealing with scholarship aid or it is false speculations will be known soon so have the patience to observe.

  7. shiine says:

I'm a father of one of the top ten, I say good luck to all who made the list and keep up the good work.(Our private schools are showing a good trend).
Let's help make our public school do the same.

  8. hassan says:

congratulations to all graduated students, let me congratulate the institutions who made these students succeed. it is a wonderful news that somaliland's private schools are producing qualitiy and credible students i hope the new education minister will change the public schools into more competitve places.
