Somaliland: President Silanyo Sends Congratulatory Message to Mo Farah for his Momentous Victory

Somaliland President Ahmed Mohamed Mahmoud (Silanyo) has tonight in a presidential press release sent a message of congratulation’s to the Somaliland born British long distance runner for the fete he has accomplished in winning the second Olympic gold medal in the 5000m finals in London.
President Silanyo lauded the long distance runner for the self-belief and discipline, determination and endurance on the part his part.
President Silanyo also urged Somaliland youth to emulated Mo Farah as role model and also to stay away from drugs
In September of 2011, Mo Farah had the honor to meet with the President of Somaliland Republic Mr. Ahmed M. Mohamud Silaanyo and had received the prestigious Presidential Honor Award from the President of Somaliland Republic.
The President congratulated long distance runner for his inimitable international name and fame, and praised him his inspiring talent and personality for the citizens of Somaliland Republic, UK and the whole world in a positive conduct.

for the million's time he was not born in Mogadishu he claimed to be born in Mogadishu because he was seeking asylum in the uk. in the last 15 years almost 99.99% of Somali people claimed they were born in Mogadishu for their asylum application. before people used to claim they were from Hargeisa to seek asylum. why are the dar00d so jealous. i am ashamed of my people. i like pntland but we need to stop claiming everyone is ours. mo Farrah is from Somaliland and he is iss@q. inshallah may he have more gloris days and may his academy in gabily succeed.

Mogadishu-born Mo Farah is a champion in the eyes of the world. The two habroos in Morgan's house who host every back packer think Mo Farah will get them recognition from the British former colonial masters.

If I'm not wrong Somaliland has the least colonial influence whilst Somalia and Djibouti both liaise and cooperated with the Italians and French post-Independence. Somaliland instead of forming diplomatic relation with the British, they kicked every British out and stormed into the south in the name of Somalihood.

I used to be pro-Ethiopia because I was born there and had good memories of my childhood and Isaaqis brain washed me to like them but when I went there I discovered the reality for myself.
The Habashi cross into "Somaliland" whenever they wish and kidnap Isaaqis, rape them, kill them but I don't see any Isaaq blood boiling. If one Darood scratched one Isaaq—they will call for an open war but if Habashi wiped them out, they are "the ones hosted us when Siad Bare was chasing us". The reality is, Somalis hosted us including Isaaqis not Habashi. Harta Sheikh, Daroor, etc, are Somali territories not Habashi.
