Somaliland: President Silanyo conveys a Message of Peace on The Occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr

H.E Ahmed Mahmoud Silanyo, the president has sent a cable extending his personal wishes of good tidings and heartfelt felicitation to the people of Somaliland and those in the diaspora and the whole Muslim world on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.
The president in his message said, while sharing the joy and happiness with Somaliland people on this festive occasion I pray to Allah almighty to reward all Muslims for their prays during the holy month of Ramadan.
The president in his message prayed to almighty Allah to grant the sick a speedy recovery and to those who are in dire situation of whom cannot share the joy and the happiness on this great occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.
The president in his cable urged all Somaliland people to live in peace and harmony.
On this occasion EID Ul-Fitr celebrations I urge all Somalilanders to pardon each other and to stand united.
The President is expected to address the nation after the rituals Eid-ul-Fitr prayers are performed.

I wouldn't mind a happy and safe united Somalia but that will not work because unity is when hearts and minds are united and their hearts and minds are divided. I support anything good the people of Somaliland choose and they have clearly chosen separation. Somaliland deserves to get what they want and choose whether separation or lion share because they created the unity and were wronged so badly

hahaha I always knew this Mohamed Cheers person is obsessed with Silanyo he properly wants to replace Amina Waris.he reminded me some of my HJ mates all they ever talk about is Siilanyo, ''dee Mujaahidkii Siilanyo sidan sameyay I'm like oo yuu ku jihaaday'' I have never seen a single HY supporting Siilanyo including my family, I mean what is there to support, there were no SSC, Awdal State, tribal conferences like the one in Daallo or war untill he came to power, we were just one big happy family. you can't just support something for seek of Qabil, I support Shiekh Sharif not because of his Qabil but I believe he can make a change.
People were maybe more united during udub and Riyale but they were in power for long time yet did not do much except sit on their azz. Somalilanders are all united with Silanyo in the cause of SL because we don't want to unite with mafia and we will not allow any of our leaders to just sell us cheaply. People like Kayse is not only against Silanyo but the whole of Somaliland and now sadly the isaaq clan that he claim so his malicious comments will not do us harm.
I am not against Isaaq as a clan; they say I am one of you which has no relevance in my personal life. Thus something that is not important in my life isn't so important for me. End of the day people only care about immediate family and close friends.
I really do not believe in the Isaaq that people claim; like I said if we dug out his grave and did a DNA test, I can assure you that tomb is either empty, has goat bones or just another Somali Farah.

It doesn't mater whether Isahaaq was Arab or Somali, it's better that he was Somali since we are ancient people with ancient heritage and if he was related to anyone then probably related to the Dir if that exist; they say Dir was Arab merchant too. The maternal alliance 'habar' that we use is also known in the Dir clans e.g habar daar ( gurgure sub-clan) habar gedir etc At end of the day Somaliland does not depend on individual's choice but collective choice of SL and everyone is entitled to their opinion. I will support union when I see a good reason to do so

Kayse why u do not ask to Issa of Djibouti to join Somalia, they rule country without real power sharing. Even Ogaden people of Ethiopia want to create their own state. Walalweyn are so hypocrite and always run pathetically behind Somaliland which accepted to join Somalia in order to create 5 somali union and not only Somalia. Pitiful.
