Somaliland: President Silanyo Conveys a Message of Condolence to the Family of Late Feisal Omar Mushteeg

President H.E Ahmed Mohamed Mahmoud (Silanyo) has sent a message of condolences to the members of the Art fraternity, family and friends of the late Feisal Omar Mushteeg who passed away on Thursday night from short illness in Dharbudhuq.
President Silanyo in his message expressed his deepest sorrows for the death of the late Feisal Omar Mushteeg who apart from been an artist was also a teacher to many Somalilanders not to mention the vital role he played during the bloody war against the Siyad Barre regime.
The Late Feisal Omar Mushteeg will be remembered as one of the pioneers of modern Somali music and no doubt Somaliland has lost one of its true illustrious sons and will be missed by his family, friends ,and his fans added President Silanyo.
Lastly President Silanyo prayed to Allah to rest soul of the Late Feisal Omar Mushteeg in peace.
The body of deceased Artist was laid to rest in Hargeisa and in accordance to Muslim rituals.
