Hargeisa (Somalilandpress) – The vice president of Somaliland, Abdirahman Abdilahi Saylici attended the 1st graduation ceremony of the International Horn University (IHU) and distributes certificates to 30 students who graduated.
The ceremony which was well organized and held at Mansor Hotel were participated by the vice president, number of cabinet members, members from the three political parties, business men and the parents of the graduated students.
The president of the university, Sheekh Almis Sheekh Yahye opened the ceremony and told the history of the university. He told that the university is different from the other universities in Somaliland by providing a unique faculty of learning the Quran. He also told that the university is the first one that brings Master of Business Administration (MBA) to the country which the people used to learn it from the abroad.
The president added that the university have international cooperation with university in the overseas countries like Sudan, Malaysia and the UK. He also told that this is the first graduation ceremony of the university and the number of graduated students who are 30 students in total which 8 of them are women.
The chairman of the UCID party, Faisal Ali Waraabel spoke in the ceremony and thanked the graduated students. He requested from the current government to develop the quality of education in the country.
The other guests who spoke there were the chairman of the ruling party KULMIYE, Muse Bihi Abdi, the interior minister, Dr.Mohamed Abdi Gabose, the minister of Religion, Sheekh Khaliil and the former minister of commerce, Abiib Hassan Filfil who thanked the graduated students.
Finally, the vice president, Abdirahman Abdilahi Saylici distributed certificates to the graduated students.

more than the outside world…I mean that special knowhow which makes

it is a high team government of Somaliland starting employing graduates and train them to lead high offices. Rather than keeping the same old faces who have run out of energy and innovation.
