The New Generation University Collage is made up of four campuses; three are based in Ethiopia while one is in Hargeisa Somaliland, they are as the follows.
Background and Establishment
New Generation University College (NGUC) was founded in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia in 2002. The founders aimed to provide superior education and total quality higher education opportunities to the younger generation of Ethiopia and beyond. The founders of this college had taken into account the great demand and needs of the country for quality private higher education to meet the increased demand for trained manpower.
The Vision of the New Generation University College (NGUC) as a ‘Center for Excellence’ was born out of the dynamic ideas and the desire to assist the national and regional endeavors to provide adequate number of total quality higher education institutions. Such institutions are indispensable for effective participation in the current global economic development movement. The world is intermingling and nations are communicating basically through modern higher educational institutions. Ethiopia also can make great contributions by developing and enhancing quality higher education.
Diversity Day
Diversity Day is a day to celebrate and embrace who we are, despite our differences, no matter what race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, age, nationality, or disability. A day to reflect on and learn about different cultures and ideologies. A day to vow acceptance and tolerance. A day to consciously address these areas at educational and religious institutions, as well as in the workplace and at home.

Ethiopia has began it's own colonial rule in Somaliland, taking advantage of their emotional runaway. While the smart ones out of them will get it, the average "Somalilander" only sees Siad Bare and "wanlaweyn" even if Ethiopians take all their women and abuse them as they wish, already happening in parts of Somali region and SL.
Only those who know how Rhodes Scholarship works understand how this Ethiopian scholars work.
I suggest they read Rhodes Scholarship named after Cecil John Rhodes and Zimbabwe (Rhodesia). If you don't know about him, he was the driving force of the British Empire; the brain, the idea man, the thinker who also found De Beers.
In the future, I can see Somaliland towns named Haile Mariam, etc….they are digging their own grave. They rather be eradicated by Ethiopians than grow out of the 50,000 that died in the war against Dictator Siyad Bare.
Wa daad caqliga laga haystu waxana ka haysta wa emotions, grieving….cuqdad.
Kayse, well said writen your comment.now most somalis whether Dar@@d,haw*y,digil-mirifle and The others are all understanding The difference between is@@q habashi and real somali is@@q.They are getting The full Picture.
Our grandmothers were Ethiopians you fool! Whom you think your Doobira was? Harti Hantaale Koobe Kablalax jidwaaq hangaraarax tincaaro, were they humans or animals? Shup up you fool!
you must be is@@q habashi,no need to go back we related with The ethiopianes and That garbage.Proud your self as a somali person you low life scam back.
Keyse
Inaad nacas tahay, kula yaraa 50.000. Keyse cadowga kowaad ee Isaaq ayaabad tahay.
barwaqo.
50,000 it’s not small number but how about 1.8 million other somalis dead since This bl@@dy nonsense uncivilize conflict started.all kayse is saying is it’s time to move forward bring good ideas not fake one”looking fake recognition”. winging becoming emotional it’s not The answer.
Dahir
You missed the point. The massacre of 50,000 and plus of civilian lives were carried out by a Somali government using all the sources of Somali state as well as foreign mercenaries and yet people defending those perpetrators behind their tribal curtains. There is a big difference between what happened in 1988-1989 while the Somali government was still intact and functioning and what happened after the collapse of the Somali Republic.
Muslah Mohamed Siyad is a good example..Apart what he and his brother-in-law Morgan did in Hargeisa, he personally ordered the massacre of the innocent civilians in Gasira in 1989, this was declared on press conference by former General Angeh, and confessed as he was the man who carried out that order. Now, on his 2nd bid Muslah is trying to become a Somali President whilst he firmly believes that he can so long his clan standing beside him.
After all, we see here day out and day in, the offsprings and collaborators of those perpetrators talking about Somali unity and recognition of Somaliland. Isn't it an absurd! Tani waa kaaf iyo kala dheeri.
Aleylehe Kaaf iyo kala dheeri iga dheh.
Dhuguse,I made my point here.infact your The one who is not getting The massege here which is”move forward not backward” Think somthing contructive instead of keep circling The same issue next six hundred years.
going back to The topic The total figure were 50,000 including civilian. Those days The military regime use what ever They have to oppress own people including event 1978-82 They kill Thousandnes of civilian shot in back throw in The wells in central somalia/mudug The officer incharge his name was colonel xariir is@q clan.
in 1990-1992 innocent people been Butchered becuase of Their clan name. They had no assoccian what so ever with The military regime.more Than 75,000 dead no one mention This massacre and Those who behind This Atrocities move around freely even now same of Them try to run office but IC are blocking.
I may have to use harch word here,to be honnest is@@qss like you are very stupid selfish narrow minded folks live in The past. trying to use This issue as a tool to scaremonger own people to keep Them in The dark.so,They can sell Their fake recognition to confuse Audience.
You must be very diluted person muslah, morgan,no one is protecting Them They are not representing any tribe.also others who committed crimes 1990-1992 should be brought to justice.
Conclusion very part of somalia Atrocities happen not only in one area.
Dahir/Allemagan, You have said "stupid selfish narrow minded folks live in the past"! Surely, you have indicated your true color and I've terribly smelt who you are and yet trying to convince me the past events that I was present from A to Z.
In short, let me tell you this! We will live with the past until all the perpetrators and their collaborators are brought before the courts of justice whatever it takes and simultaneously, the sovereignty of Somaliland will never be compromised with anyone, whether we get IC recognition or otherwise. This is the final conclusion reached more than two decades ago with the presence of your own Garaads. Period.
Must read report;
http://www.ramaasnews.com/index.php/News/News/War…
Barwaaqo
I read this report before but I wonder why SLpress didn't translate this report and similar ones and publish them here instead of reporting a gazelle killed a sheep (deero ayaa lax dishey)! Hore ayaa loo yidhi: "Isma oga agoon iyo ninkii aabahood dilayye"- Waa meesha ay maanta marayso!
Dhuguse,
Don’t drag in mr Allemagan into This debate becuase he’s not part of it your confused.I am convincing to you or anyone else for anything Accept”past is The past”,all somalis have stories to tell what happen in somalia from 1998-1996.so,your story is no different in any way, shape or form.
All perpetrators and rebel groups who are responsible somali Atrocities should brought to justice since 1978-1996.somalialnd it’s not sovereignt country but region within somalia, your brian cells is firing The wrong signal telling you That. This fake project have nothing to do with garaads and some is@@qs but delusionist.
correction, all somalis have stories to tell what happen in somalia from 1978-1996.
correct.i am not convincing to you or anyone else.
Before you celebrate this colonial handout by a man equal to you if not lower even in terms of education credentials, I recommend that you read: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cecil_Rhodes
Also remember, everytime you celebrate things like these your giving them credit while ignoring your own; your encouraging others to go there and ignore your own institutions. This has became a normal DNA code for the Isaaq family, to embrace anything foreign and give no attention to home grown things/institutions, thats why they don't believe in Somalinimo. They want to be something they are not because for them being themselves or at home is not good enough. Never accepted. It's always "Arab father"; "British protectorate" "Ethiopia rescued us 1988"…this is why they fit in no world.
Well said Kayse
You analysed the whole problem and told the truth, But one question for you is, What do you propose is the cure for our disease? and What will YOU do personally?. Somalis for too long talk hide behind computer screens and argue in cafes. We need a cultural and religious revival!
I am at the moment getting involved and slowly advocating different views within different groups. We have this HY youth gathering and part of it is to introduce new ideas and thoughts and to be honest none of them like anything from Ethiopians or foreigners. They do not support Somaliland secessionism either.
We gotto start some where and they say all charities begin at home and since I am a HY; honestly don't care about tribe but gotto start some where so we are gathering HY youth groups…
Part of it is to change the way currently my Isaaqis think and to out grow out of this grieve of Siad Bare and finally to support the Odweyne, Hargeisa and Burao road.
I can tell you that slowly they have given up Somaliland thing.
Let me put it this way my Isaaq brothers. Yes, we lost a lot of people and all Somalis did but you can't run away from a dead fox corpses into the mouth of a lion.
Right now Somaliland project is suicidal. Intaynu Somali ka ordaynoo waxaan uu gacan galnaay habashi si kastaba oga cadawsaan Somaliideena. Yes Somali is one dysfunctional family but they will not colonize you, systematically kill you and AIDS alone can wipe us out from Habashi.
Isaaqi waxaa maanta uu taaliya naago and our policies have became based on emotions and grieving widows.
It's time to turn it around…we are already starting it and this is not to harm other Isaaqis nor other Somalis but to save them from Habashi, isolation, and a country that will never get recognition.
I call for similar meetings by Isaaq and other Somali youth.
Good idea and good comment.
@somalilanpress
can you delete these racist tribalists rants by kayse or is he part of your team.
Kayse… can't handle Somaliland. He is behind. Like his current Zoomalis who think doing their best is looking for able bodies to be MP. Just able to remain sain and able is all they wish much like Mcdonalds do. He whines over those who have achieved more then and can do much more if not for the backwardness of their country men. How I pitty people like Kayse? Who admit they cannot compete with the rest of the world because they want to be African part of the monkey evolution instead of Adan and Xawa??? Soo sad for them we are but not enough to allow their slow ever so slow evolution to modern man…. mwaaahahhhha
Congratulations to the students.
The only thing is why is Somalilandpress dedicating an whole article to the graduate of 30 Students.
Priority should be given to Students graduating from Somaliland's 16 University, not in a foreign country.
SomalilandPress-Honest Question does Ethiopia give you guys funding?
This site one sided pro ethiopian bias is something I find a little disturbing and I am a Somalilander through and through.
Damn kayse is powerful ! The Guy launch several new
Popular expression like Issaq-habashi or the two-council blablabla ! Lol
Im forced to give you crédit for that mate !
Hmmm… Does somalilanders belong to ethiopia? It seems to be waringly wrong that whenever somaliland celebrate something it has to be resourced, funded, or somehow or anyhow connected with ethiopia. Why not another countryOr is ethiopia the most developed in africa? To understand this, we need to understand what do they share in common.
When I read comments like hyena eater Kayse it is really makes me proad that we are politically got nothing to do this hyena eaters+ piracy+cold blood killers+and state of suiciders and kidnappers of zoomalia .kayse hyena eater when he say somalinimo you can feel he is very narrow minded person u need to rescue ur ppl from hell and stop watching and reading somaliland development
My fellow folks bear in mind those faqash hyena eaters unce they finished all those hyena in zoomalia their dream is to to sneak our border and eat our kidds make sure we build Berlin wall
first person who tested hyena meat was godane also he imported This strange behaviour.he days are numbered.

ofcourse every body know crazzy godane from burco terrorist.i heard This phrase but i am afraid no glass intact in somalia so nothing to break.you get The point.

al-dameerow watch your langauge.
Kayse lol is a very dangerous dignitary. Numerous times he's all malicious high profiled Agent
ranks of Satan. But Since Ato Meles Zenawi's sudden death, his tactical attacks are changing
from the Silaanyo's and his Jecloz to the Isaaqoz. Perhaps failing to gain scores on the Silaanyo's
and is Jecloz, Kayse banjuuti hindi banyaal bhai switches to hammer the Isaaqoz lol. Kayse inar
hortaa jireba Isaaqoz wuku khasaare adna bal hala eego waxad ku danbayn lol. You know what
Kayseoow I don't hate you but exploring your deep twisted bloggings and their eventual real
meanings.. You are to me a smart yet vulnerable dangerous species of some kind and bred!.
Keep in rolling Kayse lol. Maybe you could a good judge between Somaliland and Somalia.
Btw, how's your Chief Sharif Ahmed and his team doing, looks like he's still in pretty bad shape
to smoothen the roadmap dire politics!.
Cheers.
@kayse
you nailed it man, from now on you have my respect
What Respect lol. Geezer I doubt that you are from Puntland? Geezer means more like Sharif Ahmed lol.
Cheers.
Cawil is not the first student to won a gold medal from Ethiopia. SL students gained gold medals in medical schools- all top 10 students were from SL out of 50 plus, military academy and now in Business School. Since this a pattern from SL students, I worry the Ethiopian think tank can see us a intelligent gene who are academically superior to them. No nations wants few students to come from a historically antagonist nation and outwit their student. I always felt that Somalis specially the part I know SL have a percentage of people with mechanical minds who can easily learn math and science. My modest observation is based on personal encounters with average students in their classes while in Burao who did well in engineering schools in the US in spite of the fact that engineering the hardest thing to learn where only A students in the US do well in Engineering.
Be careful mate! Nobody likes people with highly intelligent genes and that was why Adolf Hitler rounded up the Jews during WW-2.
@kayse. What rubbish? People like use women and anything to make a point.. weak point!! I am sick of you're rantings about anything to scare or harm those who have a democracy or the few who adovate for one in Africa. Somaliland is one of the first to do so? This makes you fume because we can work with the world as honorable and intelligent human beings whilst others remain behind. I feel totally sorry for you African monkeys who remain in the past. Totally SORRY for you. That is the only apology you get from me whilst you eat my dust. mwahahahah
Here we go again? Ethiopia this, Ethiopia scary, Somalis fight, Oooh aahh. We don't like change (thumb thumb my chest).. Mwaaah. Change, Modernity, the world is our Oyster and we Somalilanders i.e 'Isaaq' love to pursuit life. Whilst others pursuit stagnation, backward, history, living in the past, fearing what could be and other cultures incase you are influenced… oooh scary
let me congratulate firstly for the somali students graduated NGUC esp department of HRM .those i have a friends.and the government of somaliland who present the graduation ceremony, the administration of NGUC.
secondly i would like to thank the goverment and people of ethiopia for offering education for those students.
They are looking in ethiopia servant to work There your right candidate.
Ahahaha! You are now using the good name of Mogadishu Mayor as a camouflage! Use your own you di*ty Fa*ash!
nobody likes these dar00ds hence they use fake names. kkkkkkkkkk such a bunch of ugly useless people
I doubt "Somalilanders" would welcome in the same fashion if 2000 "Landers" graduated from Mogadishu University which is ranked top 40 universities in Africa while this college is unknown.
This is a psychological thing and everything from the south is associated with "faqash"; walanweyn and Siyad Bare.
I hope they realise this and understand this needs to stop or change. We have to accept that Somalis can do things right; whether north or south and we should embrace that and have self-belief.
I recommend you read: Incessant Overt Incursions by Ethiopia’s Liyuu police goes on Unimpeded by Yumoha Pasha
Kayse lol can you explain why everything in the South Somalia is associated with
"Faqash"/"walanweyn" and Siyad Barre? What happened to all the other tribes of the Southern
Somalia?
Cheers.
kayse, kkkkkk, same of These folks need medication.
Congratulation.
