Somaliland Foreign Policy Came To A’ Halt,

I’ am very certain this is not a new music to your earse, as many Slanders, have already commented privately and publicly before me inteclltual, and independent diplomate, from the diaspora community,they have expressed their grave concerned, about president Ahmed Siilanyo’s adminstration handling of its foreign policy in the wake of the London and Dubia Road map Accord.
Mr Siilanyo agreed to enter talk, with the outgoing weak, corrupt and unelected former warlords, TFG government based at Mogdishu Airport, against the wishes of the Somaliland electroate this was defintely a very bad move ill, advised misled, and misjudged by president Ahmed Siilanyo a controversial political heavy weight, the fact Mr Siilanyo signed a blank cheque for ex, warlord and current president of Somalia Sheikh Sheriff Ahmed Somaliland’s sovereignty ve’ been jeopardised.
This is why despite the flourishing democracy, that is taking place in Sl peace and stability , many european diplomate MEPs, friends of Somalilands including Uk parliamentrian group led by Alun Michael and Kerry Mcathy and Mr Tannck whom have been lobbying rigorously and tirelessly, persuading their government to put Sl ‘s case for international recognition on the forefront of the political agenda, recently these ve’ gone cold and silent, as result of president Ahmed Siilanyo’s debacle foreign policy.
What is wrong with SNM political leaders as soon as they, become head of state power corrupt them easily in short periode of time, they, do a complete u turn of Sl, constitution, and show their true colours, just like (Abdi Rahman Tuur) it is, ironic that the political wing of SNM, leaders all share the same ideology (greater Somalia) and reunification, but why though? what Hamar, got that Somaliland ve, not got in terms of natural, resources, culural deversity education, so on and so forth.
It, seems, quiet obvious that all western delegation Mps. diplomate and business people used to pay frequent visit to Hargeisa capital of somaliland have change their travel planned to Bosaaso and Mogdishu,
I, therefore urge president Ahmed Siilanyo to make a turnaround foreign policy as swiftly as possible, in order to rectified this issue once and for all, in the meantime Somaliland respresentatives, (wakiilo) in europe and north America should be dismissed they’re incomptent inexprienced, and wast of space the bottom line is that Sl Ministry of foreign affairs is unfit for purpose.

Those who believe in the imaginary tribal entity called "Somaliland" always talk about few things, pay attention to their argument, choice of words and argument.
It is always "we have peace"; "we are British colony"; "June 26th"; "Siad Bare"…
Why do they always say peace? This is because they are still in a stage of grieving of what happened during Siad era…when a child is bullied at school, he/she might decide not to go outside and be always stuck at that stage. In Somaliland, the south represents the big bully and psychologically they feel safe in the three triangular towns of Burao, Berbera and Hargeisa.
They also think Somalia is Darood and Darood is Somalia but can't let go of Dhulbahante at the same time or Warsangelis. They are in a complicated world that does not even make sense to all logical people regardless where in Somalia they are from.
They think few British soldiers looting their land is a reason to break away and this June 26th no longer means anything to them as they all celebrate May 18, even though Samaroons, Hartis have nothing to do with SNM.
I don't know anyone that celebrates a day when their defeated twisted fellow countrymen as an independence day. I don't see Libyans celebrating the defeat of Gaddafi as a new Independence day nor will Syrians when Assad falls.
They think Somalia is a holocaust field for anyone that is called Isaaq but they can't face it its only some Isaaqis who want this divorce.
I am an Isaaq and this runaway game makes no sense to me. Let us rebuild our Somalia and compete with foreign nations and races. We held each others back for over 60 years if not more, time to forget all that went wrong and focus on what we can get it right.
We give so much energy to what went wrong and never what we can do right. Somaliland is just a region with no rivers, fruits/veggies that is part of Somalia. It can do well if Somalia invests in infrastructure, services and resources in that region but no other future.

You missed the point again as usual. The intent in forming SNM was to liberate Somaliland from Barre's regime and indeed it was executed as planned followed by a number of successive conventions in rallying as to how to establish an effective government system to have an everlasting peace and law and order for the born again nation. An effective leadership is to cease the opportunity as it presents itself.
During those events every Somalilander was invited to participate in and voice their opinions for a way forward. In 1991 all Somalilanders collectively agreed upon that it'd make more sense for Somaliland to be separated from the rest of Somalia, essentially to go back to pre-colonial border lines. 21 yrs later Somaliland may not recognized internationally but it still remains a peaceful and stable nation. We intended to keep it that way.

The President should reshuffle his Foreign Ministry Office, get new experienced staff, bring back the African Intellectuals and diplomats who used to advice the previous governments for example Dr Iqbal, reopen the South African relations and move on like the speed of light. Somaliland needs steady progress that is based on wisdom while moving on with the times. Once the foreign office of Somaliland stopped working with the Diaspora that is when the door closed for any new progress. The direction that this office headed to was mahiga's federal deadly plan. Somaliland foreign policy is the best it has been in decades. Those people who are oppose to this promising policy are ignorant of how world diplomacy operates. Somaliland has legitimate case and the direction the government has chosen to take will yeild the quickest and fastest results. It is time we work towards bettering Somaliland and stir away from meddling what is working for us. The majority of legislators, politicians, elders, intellectuals and most of the informed public all support this policy. IT is Time to get on board and stop the nonesense. Instead of muddying the water, I urge any opponent to provide any specific thing they dislike about the current policy and its disadvantage to Somaliland and provide an alternative approach. SNM fought for a cause against a regime, it did not fight for a separatist tribe against other ethnic groups as they like to claim. My family were all SNM and they believe in Greater Somalia to this day.

I"ve said before and I'll say it again, there comes a time when you have to face a set of facts, facts that have occurred before and have recurred again in the same way. It is what it is. Reshuffling the same facts or the same cabinet posts and ministers won't do anything. The issue is bigger than what you think it is. The issues are greater than our individual President. The international community has decided that Somalia will not be divided. Any new government will face the same issue. My advice to you is to go the French Canadian- English Canadian route.

Please note the following:
1. The settlement below described by Mr Awale, covers the new allowance rate of $ 1000.00 a month from July to December, which equals $ 6000.00
2. As mentioned in your e-mail below of 18th Nov 2010, the Ministry will cover the outstanding expenses, I committed myeslf to, and paid for, such as the office contracts and related expenses. If I receive the above $6000.00, the difference of $18 000 remains outstanding, to cover the amount of $24 000 mentioned below in my e-mails.
I have explained the above in detail in my email below of 18th November 2010. May I suggest Minister that you PLEASE advance this file personally and settle it? It has created a serious inconvenience for me, as I now had to take another family loan to pay a friend, who I promised I will settle this matter in 3 weeks.
I am really sad, we both have to go through this. I hope and pray this can now be urgently settled. I spoke to President Silaanyo on the phone when I was in Juba and I avoided raising this outstanding matter, hoping it would be settled soon.
I await your urgent personal intervention and that the money can be transferred at a quicker pace via Dahabshiil.

Fair is fair Ahmed, at least under former President Rayale, Somaliland use to lobby for international recognition. Under this government, even our allies the British have stated that they have not had a signal letter or request regarding Somaliland's de-jure recognition.

Somaliland is a sovereign nation. You keep forgetting that. We don't want anything to do with Somalia, federal or not.
I can't believe that Somalia has not grasped that yet. It is over, has been for over two decades.
What is wrong with these Habashi Ismail people or the ones who now call the Ugandans their "brothers". Pls do not post here if you cannot engage positively. If SL people are sharing their opinions, it does not mean self destruction, but just a cry to resolve outstanding issues.
So pls, go back to Mahiga and be good students of the Habashis and Ugandans.
Mr Dheeg what you have to realize is that there is no point pushing for recognition from the UK or US. The key is the African Union and until the AU gives the go ahead or unless we can get the support of a number of African countries we will be chasing our own tails.
There is a need to negotiate with the Somalia Govt once it's formed as there are a number of outstanding issues that need to be agreed on eg foreign assets of the defunct Somali State a well as the foriegn debt a we still have to pay for the bullets and bombs used to kill our people by the defunct Somali state, as well a trade and free movement of Somalis, do not forget property in the South that belong to Somalilanders.

More emails from Dr Omar, Iqbal and Awale. This just proves how much they pay an Indian man for nothing. They think South Africa recognizes them and Iqbal's bank account is an "embassy". They pay him $2000 a month while they can't even take out the trash around Hargeisa or feed the starving in north Somalia.
This Indian threatens Dr Omar that he will go to Edna, hahahaha will she deliver a baby for him? What can she do to him really?
