Dahabshil group of companies has held a one day seminar in Hotel Mansour for more than 50 workers it employee’s in the country on modern technologies and customer relations.
The deputy CEO of Dahabshil company Mr. Ahmed Warsame Duacle said that the seminar was continuation of similar seminars the company holds each year for its employees the recent ones been in Burco and Mogadishu respectively.
The staff’s numbering more than fifty came from branches in Maroodi Jeeh ,Sahil and Awadal regions .
The purpose of this seminar is to train our employees to adapt to modern monetary systems which are crucial for the daily banking transactions and also to be compatible with international standards.
Dahabshil has since its inception a customer base which has enabled the company gain a significant market share in the industry marking challenging for the market leadership. Growth in the industry is expected provision of value added services diversification and product innovations, and capacity expansion to enhance access and quality services to our customers, said the deputy CEO.
Mr. Ahmed Warsame Duacle told member of staff that safeguarding our customers is a matter of paramount importance to Dahabshiil and we will continue to work closely.
Dahabshiil said that it “places the highest importance on its compliance procedures and has policies in place which are approved by the relevant authorities” said Mr. Ahmed Mohamed Yonis who heads all branches in Hargeisa.
Mr. Ali Mohamed Goodir who heads the anti-fraud and Money laundry department at Dahabshil group said this is training unique hence different from the previous ones with members of the staff been given practical assignments as part of their training.
