HARGEISA —Somaliland Business Expo the country’s first such thanks to young entrepreneurs give many firms the opportunity to put on display their products and services. One such companies that most of the Business Expo attendees recognized as one of the top winners of the event was Dahabshiil Company.

According to the attendees that SomalilandPress reporters Shiine Kahin and Mustafe Jirde were able to speak with at the event all agreed that Dahabshiil Company had the best booth due to their well décor and lighting but also that Dahabshiil would most likely gain their business. Hassan Nur Abshir who also spoke with Somalilandpress from the location said “Dahabshiil Money Transfer gives me the chance to sent money to my family from the West where I am based at the moment”. Dahabshiil displayed all its products and services at the Expo from their Money Remittance, International Bank based in Djibouti and their telecommunication (Somtel).

The CEO of Dahabshiil Mr. Abdirashiid Mohamed who spoke at the opening ceremony said that his Company remains ready for the progress of the country. He added that he was pleased in attending this Fair and that it was an honor to present Dahabshiil products and services to the public. “Being Dahabshiil, we hail whatever is useful for the country and we are interested in investing our country that is peaceful and needs investment projects and economy,”
