Somaliland Community of Ottawa congratulates Somaliland National Army

Ottawa Somaliland community congratulates Somaliland National Army for their quick and decisive victory against the SSC terrorist outfit. On the heels his major speech, president Silanyo showed unequivocally his deepest commitment to the defense of Somaliland territorial integrity. SSC ragtag militia with their daily harassment of the local population and their alliance with the ONLF and Al Shabaab terror networks was indeed increasingly an unacceptable risk to the stability of the region.
Now that SSC terrorist organization has been uprooted, Ottawa Somaliland community is convinced that the great people of Buhodle will indeed embrace the road that Las Anod took three years ago.
Marauding militias on the streets will be replaced by throngs of students on the university benches.
Congratulations to President Silanyo, Chief of Staff Jidhif, Defense minister Adami and to the great men of the National Army.

first of all, coguratulations to the brave Soaliland army file and ranks for establishing law and order in the border area of Buuoodle which recently became a base for alshabab milita. A part from that, after this obvious miltary succes, the government of somaliland need to expand eastward as far as Qardho, Garowe, and Boosaaso. at least one hunered thousand of Somalilnd youth, wo are already trained can e easily deployed in all these areas, in order to finally safe-gurad the security of our beloved country—-somaliland. Conguratlations to all Somaliland.
It is easier to work the masses up but more difficult to control them once matters get out of hand. The possible consequences are too horrible to contemplate and their leaders should know better. Make no mistake: These leaders are playing with fire and they should know the ramifications of their ill-considered actions: for a start, a war on the SSC people could easily escalate into a war between Isaak and the Darood clans in the Horn. Not only are they not going to win such a destructive clan war, but the financial and human cost would be incalculable. Above all, such a war will destroy for ever the historical bonds between the brotherly peoples in the region and the emerging divide between them and SSC people would be unbridgeable.
More importantly from their perspective, they would also lose the sympathy and support of the international community which hitherto had rewarded them handsomely for their much hyped good governance. Last but not least, Somaliland leaders should be under no illusion that the new Darwish State would hold them responsible under the International Criminal Court (ICC) for any crimes committed against the SSC people in exercising their inalienable right to have their regional state and to remain part of Somalia. The indictment by the ICC of those in Kenya and Sudan for their crimes against their peoples should serve as a salutary lesson that no one in the secessionist enclave who committed crimes against civilians in the SSC, Awdal or anywhere else can remain beyond the reach of international justice.

Good points Bashir.. I wish more will think like you. I think we need dialogue on the whole region. Unfortunatly the chance is almost lost now because of the unwarrented attack on Buhoodle. I am from Buhoodle and I am dishearnted by how immature the somaliland administration has acted. This goes against our previous arrangements and agreements. You might be right on A new civil breaking out in the region, unless cooler heads prevail.

1. When did the the entire SSC become the property of the Dhulbhante exclusively? SICK JOKE!
2. What Darwiish state and international criminal court are you talking about? Somaliland government has always opened the hand of peace to the Dhulbhante while they in turn have called on every darood tribe in the region to declare a holy tribal crusade. They keep losing that is why they are now crying fool!
3. The the SSC people include Isaaq and warsengali, but you greedy fools forget to mention this to your brained was supporters. And both tribes aren't interested in any Dhulbhante expansionist propaganda.
4. We aren't the ones working the masses it has always been the SSC fanatics and their love of pan-daroodism politics.
5. If you people want to bring the international community into this conflict and the history of Isaaq-darood hostilities by all means please do so. You should know that by the end of such investigations the word Darood will become synonymous with modern day fascism.
6. Finally, do not make bold statements that the Isaaq will lose a conflict with the Darood as if to say you are god or know the future. If history proves anything it's that if we can wipe the floor with you under the SNA then taking care of you as common militias shouldn't be much work.

The army chief has just addressed the Buhoodle people and they are celebrating like the Iraqis when they were liberated from Saddam. The Talleeh conference has came to an end, they all fled.
The army now controls the town but they said the army is not inside the city but controlling all four roads that enter the town and during this operation they lost one soldier and four injured…the militia has fled and the taleeh conference is confused with all the participants looking for their passports and flight tickets…they are trying to enter Puntland to take Daallo.

C"mon brotther, I have been reading your post for awhile now and you are just as misguided. Do you even know how misleading the SSC name is to the vast majority of Dhulbhante Diaspora?
- In Sanaag, the Isaaq and Warsengali are the two big tribes with the Dhulbhante being a small minority. The Dhul. make up 15% of the residents of Ceerigabo and live in a few towns, but that's it.
-In Sool and Cayn (Budhoodle), the Dhulbhante are the majority.
So at best, this group should be called the" Sool minus Caynabo, Cayn with a sprinkle of Sanaag" militia. That's if you want to get technical and tribal. Now add the fact that some of the Sool Dhulbhante are pro-somaliland and the picture becomes clear.
The SSC group is nothing but smoke with no basis in reality. Sorry to disappoint you!

Wrong maths. The Isaaq are the majority. FYI Buhoodle is part and parcel of a wider metropolitan
settlements of HJ,HY and minority dhulos cornered in the shanty Buhoodle ghettos. Forget Cayn
which's exlusively HJ metros.

Therefore the tribal problems are handled by the Central Govts. chain of commands. Therefore,
here a working govt. is in action.
