SOMALILAND, A MIRACLE IN THE HORN

They say Somaliland went to the sky
They wonder how it jumped so high
A level that made the world surprised
Making state like this history recorded

They say it is located in a dangerous region
They wonder how it survived from assimilation
Experts says anarchy and chaos spread like epidemics
Realizing Somaliland is immune to these endemics

They say Somaliland’s case is a miracle
They wonder and ask if it is an oracle
Somalis are the same in every side
Exposing this theory’s false side

They say democracy is a tough process
They wonder why in Somaliland it is a less stress
Free and fair Elections are not common in the horn
Making our enemies to sting them like a thorn

They say rebuilding needs others support
They wonder the outcome of an individual effort
Neighbours get jealous from our vibrant free markets
Hoping one day they will freely trade the same baskets

They say Hargeisa streets are safer than Nairobi highways
They wonder and ask who secures these alleyways
May be the secret lies in my people’s lifestyle
Compelling failed societies to adopt this good profile.

Oh Allah! The almighty, Bless Somaliland with your bounties
Oh Allah! The almighty, Protect my country from the evil eyes
Oh Allah! The almighty, Keep my people’s solidarity
Oh Allah! The almighty, Make my nation an icon in the Horn

The Almighty ALLAH-GOD of the World of mother nature and all his creatures under his mercy
of mother nature surely Adnan Abdi is too exceptional with his wonderful wonderful peom coupled
with all the more wonderful wonderful prayers(DUCA). Welldone MR. ABDI..you have done your part
and the acknowledgement and acceptance part rests with the Almighty GOD.
For clarity…ALLAH in Arabic means GOD in English and there's no difference in meaning…both
    words mean the same GOD.
    Cheers.

You are right they have the same meaning, but the word GOD is not appropriate to use to refer to the Creator, because the word GOD in English is ALSO used to refer to Goddess or pagan gods. Whereas the word ALLAH is unique and does not have any connotations with pagan 'gods', so it is better to use the word Allah, and also because He refers to Himself as Allah in the Qur'an.
      :)

Middlepath..you don't get it do you. Basically ALLAH and GOD are one and the same
in all true godly religions. The only difference is the different languages. I care less what the
human behaviours do. Am only concerned about the real meaning of Allah and God in the
attributes of their godly meaning which I still uphold as I previously explained.
Middlepath dear…Gods pagan gods are something else. Did I say such things. Remember
I said God not Gods or Pagan Gods.
        Cheers.

          Further clarification:

Allah means The Almighty in English.
          Rab means God in English.
Allah Rab al alamiin means in English The Almighty God of the Worlds here/hereafter.
As I explained before the same one God of Mother Nature (Fitrah) is the same god
for Arabs and non-Arabs(Ajam) human beings of all races from Prophet Adam/Queen Eve
          down to doomsday.
          Cheers.

Somaliland is the home of Hadraawi, Gaariye and many other poets, singers and song writers.

It is hoygii murtida, heesahaiyo suugaanta and we Somalilanders have the bragging rights to have the best poets, singers and song writers in our mix since beginning of time and Adnan Abdi is not different. In fact, there is a young generation of rising stars of writers and poets to reckon with now emerging from Somaliland.

Keep it up Adnan, you may follow the foot steps of Hadraawi and Gaariye.
