Mo Farah is an example of that if you dream big and follow it through it will yield fruits, fame and a bright future. And it is true when they say that life is two ways street. So, it is up to you to choose the right path. That is what he did. Mo Farah is also a role model for all Somali youth at home and abroad who wants to dream big and pursue their dreams.

Mo please use your celebrity status and try to influence Somali youth at home and abroad to take up sports. It will be a distraction for them from taking the wrong path and will keep them focus on studying and following their dreams to do what you Mo was able to do because if you can do it, they can also do it. Dreams are made and not inherited, Mo is an example of that.

Welcome home Mo, you deserve a hero welcome and more. We are very proud of you!

One thing is for sure that lady of his did not want to be there. I have never seen someone that angry on photograph of a welcoming occasion. I have some understanding of her being edgy for the reason that she is in a foreign coutry., but…

Good luck to my bruv though. I can tell you it is really hard being married to someone with a different culture.

Don't the minister of aviation, the governor of Saahil, and the mayor of Barbara have other important jobs to do than attend completely irrelevant meetings, celebrations, and ceremonies. Mo Farah should be left alone to represent the country he adopted without us running after him all the time with our flag. Instead, the government should focus on helping our youth develop their talent and reach their full potential.

    Nice one, Mo.
Glad you have taken the family with you this time! enjoy your break, though you can't really have a holiday in Somaliland, when everyone is literally on top of you, it's all good though! much loved, nice country.

I hope you get the change to organise a road race, may be 15k like in 2008.

    Best

Much respect for Mo Farah. I am very impressed with him. I am also amazed how excited and happy he looks to be back in his country, which he visited only two years ago perior to this visit. Masha Allah, it shows how proud Somalilander he is; ka naxow nafta waa. Really, don't wish haters to drop dead, but may be drop deaf lol.
His wife looks bit overwhelmed, but look at her wearing Islamic or Arab traditional clothing. She has made the effort to fit in with her new country, identity, and family. She will be alright and find it hard to leave the country after their holidaying end, sure about that. She will be falling in love all over again, but this time with Somaliland not Mo LOL.
