Problem: The generation who are born abroad are not so interested in SL. They are reluctant to get involved in Somliland politics or economy and won´t even send money to any of their relatives.

The solution: Participation of the diaspora in the elections through use of internet. That will not only bind the people to their country but will bring also positive development in politcs and generate future investment.

The young generation grew up in a wise and developed world not in the tribal villages of Garadag. They know nothing about "Somaliland"; all they know and should know is that the world is divided into seven continents and their origins are Africans and within Africa you have hundreds of ethnic groups but they belong to the Somali race.

There is no such thing as a race called "Somalilander"; people going to laugh at you if you say your Somalilander mohahahahaha.

Your Somali, your language is Somali and your father is Somal and the word Somali did not come from Milking as some claim, the Somali predates Islamic time forget the British fool who came onshore yesterday in early 19th century.

I laugh at people who claim Somali comes from the word Soo maal (To Milk).

Somal comes from Samaal, the father of the Dir clan and the others are Sab (Bantu).

This Arab ancestry is all fake and DNA will prove that. Somal, Ethiopians, Berber and Nubians are all related people who used to inhabit Egypt even before the Pharaohs.

DNA backs this claim and Arab ancestry was fake theory made up by an Albanian man who came to Egypt during the Ottoman Empire. He wanted reason to claim Somalia, Djibouti and parts of Ethiopia so he came up with the Arab ancestry claim. He was one smart man and his name as many of you know was Ismail Basha or Ismail The Magnificent.

He is the father of the modern Egypt and he convinced all Egyptians that Egypt owns Somalia, Djibouti, Sudan including now South and parts of Ethiopia and the Nile.

This is how they came up with the idea to use Somalia as a proxy war against Ethiopia and who submitted Somalia to the Arab League? Of course Egypt and KSA.

I believe in Somali and that we are all one family…no such thing as Sheikh Isaxaaq the Arab or Darood the Yemeni Saint…all those things are mythical stories invented in Egypt, then passed on to Yemenis…

Be proud of who you are my people—your Somali and Irir, Darood and Rahawein are one Samaal family while our minority bantu are Sab.

    Keep up the good Diasporas.

Here we go again the mad dog barking furiously again. who let this dog out? Seems he is hypnotized. Dude Somalilanders have left people like you behind long time ago therefore keep on barking dog.

As he mentioned "new generation of Somalilanders grew up in wise countries and know nothing about Somaliland" Well dog let me tell you one thing am one of those and a third generation born outside of Somaliland and I love my country to death and will do anything for my country. Not like you who has been outside only since the troubles started and migrated to a western country since and got all this time to rant about Somaliland and and its people, Thanks to the welfare systems of which ever country you are at for giving you all this time hate and write nonsensical.

You can't forced us to like Somalia we have nothing against them and at the same time wish them all the best but always remember we are called Somalilanders dog.The choice is ours and it has already been made and there is nothing you can do about it, Hence shove it and keep on barking.

      • Kayse says:

Not sure why your angry but I assume its because you know there is nothing called Somalilander, but there is Somali land – the land of Somalis.

Djibouti is Somali land, Somalia is Somali land, etc.

You just make me laugh, I really don't care where you were born your always a Somali, if you hate yourself that much then work hard and change yourself like Michael Jackson.

        • isse says:

Regardless of your political views, what you have said about somali origins is accurate.

        • odhaayaxun says:

are you really comprehending wht you read above? a fool is a fool anyway. You aint better or more somali than any other but are a less somali consumed by hate .
