ADDIS ABABA — THE African Union (AU) has asked the international community to hand down sanctions to instigators of the war in Somalia. The move is aimed at ending impunity with which militants conduct their mischief.

The AU special representative to Somalia, Ambassor, Boubacar Gaoussou Diarra, asked donor countries to support the transitional federal government to strengthen its ability to coordinate reconciliation in Somalia.

This, he said, would solve crises in Africa. “Somalia is the only country where people instigate war, commit crimes against humanity and are not bothered.

The sooner the message is sent to Somalis that sanctions are available and ready for use, their attitudes would change and the chance for positive political settlement would increase,” Boubacar remarked.

The weak TFG failed to deliver anything and remains stalemate gone case. The militant
insurgency forces are also no better choice. Somalia must have a new direction coming from
the people of Somalia without outside forces meddling in the internal affairs of Somalia.
There's no need for AU Amisom to remain in Somalia by capitalising on protecting
the weak TFG on life saving machine to remain in power and brutalising on the poor civilian
population by shelling killing by the thousands and displacing millions etc.
All those TFG warlords responsible for genocide crimes against their own people must be brought
to justice indicted by the Hague ICC. It's also difficult to understand how the AU themselves dictators
with certain opposition problems in their countries could bring about real meaningful changes in
the almost impossible difficult unresolvable affairs of Somalia in peril.
    Cheers.

The reality is the TFG are worst than the war lords. The war lords were not using were not using african mercenary soldiers to slaughter are displace millions of unarmed Somali women and children in Mogudisgu. Along with these africans – Burindi, Uganda and kenya- these so called "Un elected TFG MPs and ministers are profiting from the suffering of Southern Somali women are children in Mogudishu. The shame and disgusting thing is that they are suppossed to be Somalis , but are selling and exploting the blood of their mothers and daughters and sons to the international community and these Africans.

Long live Somaliland, the people of Somaliland, and our great leaders, Silyano, Riyale, Egal and Tur. Somaliland Leaders will never sell the people of Somaliland short, they are our guardians and the sons and daugthers of Somaliland.

Tuur, Silanyo, was the SNM leaders who used the somaliland civilians to gain political interest.

Tur and Silyan were politcal leaders for the SNM. Once they liberted the Republic of Somaliland and the people of Somaliland, the SNM miltary wing was moved to Somaliland defence ministery wing, and the poltical wing was set up. Tuur was elected as the President of Somaliland in 1991, and in 1994 he stepped down and was replaced by th honerable Mr Egal.

What you see here is a nation and people with a politcal vision and ideas – that is whay today nations are putting their red carpets for our leaders, once they land on their shores.

What did you get in Mogudishu? USC and UNSC ( Aided and Mahdi) fighting each other for the presidency, and in the proceses destroying their people and saling and looting everything that was in the country. Everytime, a country ( Egypt, Ethiopia, Yemen, Kenya, Uganda) would set up a conference for them and choose a leader for them to exploit, and inturn they would return to Mogudishu and fight amognst themselves.

The USC and SPM and SNM and SSDF and whatever names they might have used in the past, Warlords have violated the rules of warfare and killed innocent people. The days of killing innocent civilians and then chewing Khat may be coming to an end. Yes to ending impunity of crimes against humanity. It is time that those of us who left the country to go back and liberate it. I joined the USA army and went to Iraq to help them stop killing one another but now may be the time that i will take the final assignment, If Somalis cannot agree on anything then whats wrong with UGandans Kenyans and Ethiopians coming in and telling them what to do. They should go in and invade the country.

Somalis in Somalia (South) are not capable for doing anything for themselves. Lets remember, the "Somalia" they use to take credit for was infact something created and influenced by Somaliland. Allow me to break it down.

First of all the Parliament and the way it functioned was entirely based on the Somaliland model, which we took it to Mogadishu. They did not have a parliament before Somaliland joined them.

The Somali currency aka Shilling, came from Somaliland which was part of the East African Shilling currency countries. Southern Somalis used the Lira.

The Somali police force was built on Somaliland ideas and foundations, take even for example its emblem, see this image: http://shabelle.net/uploads/6014-full-so.jpg

Now see this: http://t0.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcQwT8ADjb… (this was Somaliland's coat of arm)

    Again: http://t0.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcQB7tmieC

Now see Somaliland military's coat of army in 1890s: http://www.bederwanaag.com/Images/somalilandcamel

The Somali flag was designed for Somaliland and veiled in Hargeisa first, it was designed in 1954, six years in repreparation for Somaliland. South Somalia was to gain independence in 1970s (because it was to stay in UN-trusteeship for further TEN years).

Somalia was added to the Arab League by Somalilander, then Somalia's foreign Minister, Omar Arteh Ghalib.

Somalia's national army was created from Somaliland's camel corps, before they didnt any force other than the Italians who were chased away by the British during WW2.

So they are not used to law and order. From Italian mafia affair to Somaliland influence, to being abandoned, the result is this chaos that has no end.

Somalis from the south are not capable of creating or coming up with new ideas, they are just great looters, the reason piracy is strong there. They looted Somaliland just as you can see them using our products without them even knowing where they got it from. Now you know.

Somalilanders generally think far greater than their distant relatives in the South.

If you guys are so clever Kayse why did Issaq educated men in Somalia instead of taking the leadership in the country, create a armed rebel group based on Qabil the SNM? and start a tribal civil war which in the end destroyed the future of Issaq children?

Hey MOG Boy, BTW it almost worked but was sadly torpedoed by the well known conspiracy
assissination of AHN President C/Rashid Sharmarke presumably sabotaged by the defeated
opposition Party led by C/Razzak Haji Hussein in the 1969 elections after which the Military Coup Detat
took charge ousting the democratically DIR Darod best civilian Govt. led by AHN PM M.I.EGAL.
BTW if you don't know the DIR Darod strategy was created by Isaaq and like all the other good things
Kayse highlighted this only best change was also derailed and killed. If that dir Darod worked
the British were willing to unite greater Somalia at that opportunity. Look at what Somalia is like now at
        this different times around.
        Cheers.
