Police commander gunned down in Las Anod

HARGEISA (Somalilandpress) -–The Special Police Unit (SPU) commander of Sool region, Mr. Abdi Isse Nour was killed in the city of Las Anod in South East of Somaliland this evening at 6:30 pm. Assailants gunned down the commander as he was outside his home.
Mohamed Abdi, one of the relatives of the officer told Somalilandpress reporter Abdiqani Baynah how the incident happened. “The commander was leaving his house in the east of Las Anod after breaking fasting with two of his police guards. At 6:30 pm, unknown militia men attacked the commander and his police guards while they were in front of his house. The assailants opened fire and shot the commander five times where he was pronouced dead at the scene.
This is not the first time that a Somaliland officer was killed in Las Anod. There are other police and military officers who have been killed in Las Anod city by unknown militia. Local militia by the name of SSC has been known to take actions similar to this evenings cowardly attack on the commander. Somalilandpress was able to speak with Interior Minister in which he told us that an investigation is currently going on in the city and also that the military and the police are put on high alert.

The new administration of President Silanyo is trying to find peaceful solution to problems in Las anod and the surrounding area. The problem with this kind of approach, is it encourages terrorist like the SSC to be more bold. The previous Somaliland Regime under President Riyaale did much to keep
under good control the problems of certain parts of Lascanood District
Townships(dhibatadan soo noqnoqnaysa) it's now upto the new Regime
under President Silaanyo to act fast to secure the Somaliland W/bari borders
against these terriorists insurgency or allow the Somaliland to get screwed
up once again into the Somalia and Somaliweyn ideologies having deep
and dire consequencies for the contemporary world orders of the
entire globalisation new Sciences secular democracies and what have
you against these democracies in place. The Somaliland proper current
situation and it's status quo legally de jure not defacted de facto! is in

I believe we must not show these fools any mercy as this will be interpreted by them as a sign of weakness the only language they understand is the language of the gun. Somaliland is NOT about tribes so keep tribalism out of this discussion. The so called SSC is fighting the people of Somaliland and should be brought to justice for doing that. All their supporters whether in Somaliland or abroad but be pursued and stopped. The government should ask all the Western countries where the supporters of this terrorist group are based and funding their terrorist acts to take action against them. Until a referendum is held in Las Canod and they unilaterally decide to secede from Somaliland it will remain a part of Somaliland. The gun won't bring peace or change to anything but cripple the little bit of credibility the region is trying to protect.
Also, I can tell you've never held a gun in your life, let alone pop-off because if you were as reckless with your hardware as you are with your mouth you would've been dead already.
My point to you is to take it easy on the internet war inciting. If you're so serious about the Las Canod cause why don't you go there and do something about it? Maybe you can get a petition for a referendum going or learn that the secessionist are using tribalism to cover up a selfish natural resource-grabbing operation that is backed by big business.
