Nigeria killings caught on video

April 1, 2010   ·   7 Comments

Al Jazeera has obtained exclusive footage from Nigeria which shows unarmed men being shot dead. The footage was taken last year when the Nigerian government was hailing its defeat of an Islamist rebel group known as Boko Haram. We must warn our viewers that the images are extremely disturbing.

Yes, it is a genocide and a world gone wrong where government offficials abuse their power entrusted to them by the people. What happen to humility and respect of one being a human?

Does any of those officials who are acting as a judge, jury and executioner while in power ever think that their action may come to haunt them tomorrow and their fate maybe similar to these people they are executing now? It is really disturbing, painful to watch and I am disguisted!

It's clear genocide by Christian government against the Muslims and now honestly after this video thanks to al Jazeera I believe Muslim Nigerians should have their own state and Muslims world wide should help them.

    This is clear genocide.

Jack, i think you should care and they are human beings too, it could be you. we are living a world we are not learning from past horrible killings and genocides. i could not finish watching it as i have seen similar events before. I hope one day we see world people are living harmony and peace and we are accepting each other as a human, not just our believes.

Very sad. I hope justice comes to those who deserve it.
It's not necessarily a religious war. Religion is and has always been (atleast within the last millenia) a tool used to control the uneducated, to aggitate the blind believers, and to hide issues which would jeoperdize control of power.
Sadly until all people read their respective Holy Books completely (not just listen to preachers) and are able to properly discern the various contradictions in those Books we will never have peace on planet.
