Mo Farah names his daughters Aisha and Amani

Olympic hero Mo Farah has shown off the newborn twins who inspired him to double gold-winning victory – and finally revealed their names.

LONDON — The long distance runner, who brought joy to the nation with his triumphs in the 5,000m and 10,000m finals, has called the pair Aisha and Amani.

As he and wife Tania were photographed with the infants for the first time, he joked that one of the girls was named in a bid to win favour with designer firm Armani.

Farah told a magazine: “We wanted some free stuff from Armani.” But he went on to explain that they wanted Muslim names beginning with the same initial.

Tania, 26, added: “Twin one, the eldest, is Aisha. Twin two is Amani.”

The couple believe the youngsters have inherited their track star father’s long limbs. They said that Farah was the first to hold the girls – with Aisha weighing in at 5lb 2oz, and Amani, 4lb 4oz – after he cut the umbilical cord.

Tania said: “He was almost bouncing-off-the-walls excited.”

They said if labour had begun early, during the Olympics, they had agreed that Farah should not be told to allow him to focus on his dreams of victory.

The runner said he had already had an “incredible” year.

“I dreamt of becoming an Olympic champion and to do it twice in your country with a stadium of 80,000 people shouting your name, it doesn’t get better than that,” he said.

“Then for my wife to have two healthy little girls, well there’s no way to describe it.”

Farah has a step-daughter, Rihanna, who is seven, and she and Tania were seen celebrating with him after his 10,000m victory.

Mabrouk, Mohamed, or should it be Sir Mo. Great Somali names Asha and Amani, although, he had joked Amani could be mistaken for Armani, which would mean a lot of free stuff from Armani.

I am not proud of someone like Mo Farah, because he simply choosed to ignore the honorable and just cause of Somaliland and all Somalilanders for deplomatic recognition, although he and his family fled the genocide Daarood Dictator Siyad Barre commited against our great nation of Shiekh Isxaaq Binu Axmed Binu Hashim, only because who we are as nation. One more thing everyone who was watching the life transmission of the Olympic games noticed was that Mo Farah so selfishly forced his wife which was pregnant with twins to came down to the arena, instead of he going to her, this while other sportsmen, who won some medels wisely and unselfishly went up the lader to greet their wives who were not even pregnants. What a selfish person

Let me give you a wake up call by telling you that you are as close to kufar as you can get ( I wont say you are Kufar because only Allah can say that to you). You support a group that openly claimed to be behind suicide bombs and landmines that were aimed to kill civilians. Al shabaab even killed more Muslims than the warlords did in 20 years.
