Its the beginning of the end of our journey to statehood, and thanks to Mr.Moalin who headed the IGAD delegation to Somaliland this month. We concurred the first step of AU, IGAD and others to realize the BEST KEPT SECRET IN AFRICA, and secret behind our achievements. We have longed for this kind of engagement, but finally coming through. Our observers will gain experience and lobby for our cause which is now at the door-steps of Africa. Thank God. Somaliland socotay and she will stand tall in 2011.

  2. Kayse says:

It's important we stand with our African brothers who have long suffered under the oppression of the invading Arab forces who have taken North Africa by force, who denied millions of Africans freedom and the right to live. Sudan is an important chapter in this turning point. Black Africa must unite against Arabs and others. The first chapter begins in Sudan…from there we expand into Libya, Egypt, Morocco, Algeria and eventually our southern brothers in South Africa, Botswana, Namibia will join us and expell the white foreigners as well.

Right now we must support the referendum in Sudan, even though the Arabs will try to rig the results and will try to buy votes using Qatari and Gulf money as well as Chinese money (oil explorer and Sudan's main financier right now).

Its going to be a steep hill for the Sudanese people, it will not be simply as voting and they become a nationhood no, Gulf nations are willing to burn billions on this so is China. Right now the West is backing the motion and the arrest of Bashir, however they can be over turned if Bashir is handed over. West always flip-flops and are not reliable. Not like China. China wants the Sudanese oil under Khartoum agreements.

IGAD is led by the Christian family of Musaveni, Zenawi and the Kenyan who openly share their hatred of Islam with EU and USA diplomats as the wikileaks revealed. This organisation is shame to all Africans including the Southern Sudanese people who the majority of them are followers of Islam. They will use our name as a token to appear neutral in what they clearly perceive as Muslim v Non-Muslims.

    Hey Folks

IS it the hour of madness. It all started with Kayse one day he's sober the next something
uphill inflamatory. This Sudan as one country up to now can I ask you how the SL delegation
will enter the Sudan without the permission of the Sudan Govt. under president Bashir???
Do you mean to say that Igad will infiltrate the SL delegation through the back door of South Sudan
or what!. Can somebody help me out here. The other thing…the south Sudan can not that simply
get away without the blessings of the Govt. and people of Sudan as a whole one nation as the
post colonial independence of one Sudan is an undeniable testament. Besides Sudan is an Arab
Country and the AL will have the full rights to intervene in the affairs of Sudan…wait and see.
    Cheers.

saudi king was asking USA to cut the head of the snake (IRAN), where is that religious solidarity crap from the "leader" of muslims, the land of the Prophets?????

We stand in solidarity with Southern sudanis because it is the right thing to do and it is in our interest as well.

Good morning Mohamed Cheers & the other Mohamed whoever he is. We should fight here and give each other warnings of the consequence. We are all from same entity Somaliland. I personally agree some of what Mr. Kayse said about Arabs who are in our throat. They are the ones who are against Somaliland to be heard, and I do not know why they are doing this, except Egypt and issue of Nile Waters.

The issue of Islam and Christianity, I believe its not real, because those Arabs do not care of this issue. What they care is their survival only. Hence, we the people of Somaliland must consentrate only how we support our cause and forget Arabs. Southern Sudan was left in the dark for so many years [since Sudan came into being]. They have not been give their share of the wealth, and basically do not fit this Arabs country status. I support them to go on their way and this could be beneficial for us too.

Boqoljireh… by the way, there's always that problem…the West will say..let the Au recognize
first to recognize SL and then we(West) will follow suit. Here clearly the SL problem remains
with the AU. Who's this AU..the African AU or the Arab AU?…Again you have Somalia Puntland
and anti-SL dissidents/unionists. Now where do you imagine the SL issue is geting scrambled
up?. To me it would seem the SL problem is within the Somalis and anything else is elementary
stuff. Don't worry about the sudan problems that's for the Sudaneseto take. I very much doubt the South
Sudan will be more beneficial than the all Sudan for SL. I careless about Arabs and non-arabs
and my only primary concern is how to deal with the problems between the Somalis without
      exposing to the outside world.
      Cheers.

Axmed..Igad's first visit to Sl and the Invitation of the Commission and two important Govt. officials to participate in the South Sudan's referendum would seem to me not good for the SL simply for obvious reasons to avoid the Sudanese much complicated problems. The SL position not yet fully recognized could only ideally participate in Sovereign States without referendums like the recent Rwanda etc. If/when the SL becomes fully recognized then participating in complicated countries with referendums could be viably worthwhile. SL beware of Igad bobby traps!.
      Cheers.

The plane carrying Illegal Military weapons for Puntland which landed the Hargeisa Egal International Airport unlawly and now undergoing SL Judicial Proceedings has serious
implications involving both the Puntland and Somalia TFG.
This Saracen Lebanese registered Company and allegedly financed by a GCC country
which threatens the SL National security will definitely become up as heighted issue with
far reaching effects when the SL courts finalise their rulings and it would seem that the
Southern brothers and the SL authorities would face much to keep them further apart.

I thought Somaliland would be invited to lead the whole East African delegation and teach IGAD a thing or two about elections because of our awesome democratic credentials and our vast experience in holding such polls. So the idea that we are invited to take part in order to 'gain experience' is an insult to us. It should be IGAD and the rest of dictatorial anarchic Africa who should follow our examples and learn from us and not vice versa. If this news article is accurate and IGAD wants us to 'learn' while in South Sudan, I would politely tell them- Thanks but no, we already learned everything in the last millennium.

insults to the S/land's already existing codenamed the dubbed Africas best kept secret.
The SL destined to South Sudan and Kosovo is in my assessment another Dubbed episode.
