In a post-conflict environment, attracting new foreign and domestic firms is central to private sector development. It has been twenty years since Somaliland withdraw from its union with neighboring Somalia. Do you think that Somaliland has taken enough strides toward establishing itself as a politically and economically viable state in this period?
Do you think any anyone will follow Coca-Cola? Has the government taken enough steps to foster a private sector investment?
How should Somaliland address the following?

Corruption is the destroyer of nations and must be fought tooth and nail. We have a decend top politicians in upper tier but rotten middle and rotten core in the lower and regional echelons of governance. Strenghthening the auditory systems should be a start but there are also practical steps that coudl be taken with ease. For example every govt department shoudl put their budget on their websites showing how the funds were spent. Exceptions could be made for senstive areas like the security services but there is no reason why the rest of the govt depts should not put their budgets online
