Somalilandpress is an independent news portal published from Hargeisa, the capital of Somaliland. It is one of the few English sources from the region.

Somalilandpress was founded in January 2009 by Mohamed Guled.

It’s aim is to be the voice of Somaliland’s forgotten people and plans to expand to the rest of the region in the near future including covering news from Somalia, Djibouti, Ethiopia, Eritrea and Kenya.
