Sheikh, 19 February 2009 (Somalilandpress) — Construction has started on what is expected to be a luxury holiday gateway to Somaliland for Kuwait’s ultra-rich royal family, the Al-Sabah.
The site is east of the mountainous city of Sheikh and is estimated to cover an area of 25 square kilometers (roughly 6100 acres) and will cost more than $3 million to construct the perfect gateway for Kuwait’s royals – it will have it’s own airport, helicopter pad, malls, swimming pools and luxury villas.
The luxury complex is been constructed by a local Somaliland firm – it has provided it’s own engineers, work force and materials. Building luxury villas, airport and complex malls for the royal family will give great boost to little known Somaliland construction companies.
The construction is expected to be completed end of 2009.

I used to live in Fintas so I find this interesting. My only concern is that they are probably there to hunt some of our endangered animals. I hope that this isn't the case.

I think it's good investment for both Kuwait and Somaliland, the place looks amazing, if he can bring his billions on board the place could be a major hit in Africa.

Luxury Get Away ? the proposal or the construction doesn't seem to be luxury .
What kind of architecture is it? So random . More like all kind of styles mixed then thrown at one of most beautiful Somaliland attraction landscapes.
As User: Somalilander mentioned about the HUNT of our already endangered animals. I fear for that land .
