“Election Must Be Transparent, Winner Must Be Congratulated” Ismail Buba

HARGEISA (Somalilandpress) — Veteran Politician Ismail Buba, who held different ministerial portfolios from success Somali, Governments pointed the best way that Somaliland can attain an international Recognition, and he Advised Somaliland Government to extend its hand to Mediate Southern Somalia.
Mr. Buba talked to Nairobi Based Hadhwanaag News Reporter. Mr. Amran Hassan Abdilahi he discussed the Upcoming Somaliland President Election on June 26th, 2010, its important of Somaliland, his view about the case against General Samatar, which he said it is right and it needs to continue the Hunt down of those who Committed Crimes Against Somali People.
Q. you are a veteran Politician and took Lions share from both Governments of Somaliland and Somalia, you currently Live in Nairobi tell us your life situation and Hopes?
Answer yes, Aim doing well, as you said I was here in Nairobi for a while, currently I am not holding an office, but aim a politician therefore, I am aware what is going in Somali politics, also I am here for personal reasons.
Nairobi is a place that managed Somali Governments whether it is Somalia, Somaliland, or Putland as well other instable areas. UN office for Somalia is here it becomes the General Governors office of Somalia.
Q. Ismail you said that you are monitoring the politics of both Somaliland and Somalia, are weighting your options to be part in those politics?
Answer, my plan is not to seek office, I was in politics very long time, noul it is to the take a rest from politics now. I am focusing to organize and write my vein and experience.
Q. As you know Sheikh sharif Government faced a serious Disagreements, and almost became dysfunctional how do you see this crises?
Answer, very unfortunate!!! There was no better time international community wants to help Somalis, it Should have been taken Advantage, but since Djibouti convince it seems the Somali leadership is lost, foreigners took over, it needs the leadership be Returned to Somali people.
Q. Somaliland is in elections season, presidential election is expected to be held on Jun 26th, 2010 how do you see it ?
Answer, it is a Development that Somaliland reached, but this Development is not for Somaliland alone, it is for a Somalis, transparent, and the winner must be Congratulated, also I believe when the election is over, that Somaliland will Step up to lead all Somalis to help itself, and help Somali people.

I do not think Somaliland needs the advise of this guy, he is one of the Somaliland born politician who have worked days and nights for many years to find ways to destroy Somaliland and it's people. And who is he to tell Somaliland people and it's politician what is good for Somaliland. Sir, your advise and suggestions for Somaliland people is too little too late. Keep it to your self.

This man is a true joker! He was with the TFG and was against S/Land. And now this man is bringing out his begging bowl!! What a joker!!!
I will never forget during a BBC World Service show I had a debate with him in 2007 and I destroyed him in the debate, when he was claiming that the TFG were the legitimate rulers of S/Land with these words…. "you are a renegade, a hate figure and a wanted man (in S/Land)!!!

About Ismael Buuba, he made his own bed and may as well sleep on it. He choose where he want to be and that is where he should be. We are not interested anything he has to say.
